Hallo friends,
I am sending some pictures of my new P08 pistol, all matching. The serial number is 3457, no additional letter. I would like to ask if you can determine the approximate date of manufacture. I think it might be early 1915. Can you confirm my assumption ?
Thanks
David.

Lugers are beautiful pistols, I believe my favorite. They made 105,000 of these in 1915. So it's safe to assume it was made in January. I believe the magazine should be s.n. and proof marked to be original to the pistol. Other then some pitting, you have a nice luger.

Hallo TYPE96,
thank you very much for reply. You confirmed my guess. Unfortunately magazine has a different serial number: 6763 and again no additional letter, but is still original from WW1.
David
