Picked this up. Looks to have been issued in 1937 and has entries right up into 1944. Was wondering if anyone is able to make out his first name? Any other info you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

He appears to have been a Catholic.

His fathers name was Peter and he died in 1905

His mothers name was Elizabeth? and died in 1918

Looks like Anton. Hopefully Peter U. will look this over and break it down for all of us.

I think you are correct. Looks like with an 1899 birth date he would have been old enough to have served at the tail end of WWI, though it would appear he did not. He would have been 40 at the outbreak of WWII so not sure what he would have done then. Hopefully in the next week or so I'll have time to really look through it in detail.

There isn't much to break down, Anton Schnorbach never served a day in the army, he went to the draft office several times and was medically examined but that was it.
