Hi everyone
I was referred to you all by some friends in another forum, they said this is the place to come to for some Mauser experts? I DESPERATELY need some help. I'm a South African student looking to buy my very first rifle...as chance would have it, it seems to be a very old .22 Mauser. The only trouble is the identification. The owner thinks it is an es340... As it has a 5 shot magazine, I think it might rather be a ms 420 or something. I would really like some advice on this matter, please?
Unfortunately, I only have ONE picture...and it isn't a very good one. Hopefully there is an expert in here who likes a challenge? ANY information will be appreciated!
As soon as I buy the rifle I'll provide a lot more photos and maybe even a range report. I look forward to making a lot of new friends on this site and being a Mauser owner!
