Hello everyone. Thanks for letting be a part of the forum. There is such a wealth of great knowledge on here. I am currently learning about a bring back that my grandfather sent home. I am amazed that over the years this rifle never was messed with. It was a canidate many times over the years for a sporterized hunting rifle but i couldnt let him do any damage to this rifle. I liked it the way it was. Im glad i was able to save it and no one spoterized it. It is a bcd 4 with all matching numbers. The rifling is in great shape and it hasnt been fired since the war. I cant bring myself to fire it since gp never did. Plus underneath the rear barrel band there is a perfect cut where he had cut it down to fit in a shipping box. I guess i could use another stock and give it a shot. Im going to try and post some pictures. I hope this work. If i am in the wrong section please delete. Thanks again for letting me join the forum.
