Has anyone seen this type of cleaning rod fitting on a K98? I must admit I've never seen anything like this on a late war K98. Anyone have any thoughts on this one????

Agreed 100% I believe these are called stacking rods.

I agree too, that type is seen on the postwar French Kriegsmodell stocks..
