FG42 part value.

Came across an original later model (second) FG42 muzzle break -
It is very good condition - not ground dug.

It is not a replica one, I have the replica Shoei one -
It is not the Swiss rifle one, that was inspired by the FG42.

What does something like this exchange hands for? - I couldn't find a record of one being sold - so it would be a guess'stimate.

Thanks,

Pit.

When you find the guy that needs it, the price will be whatever you ask!

A good friend searched for nearly 20 years for a 2nd model magazine and finally bought one in the mid 4 figure range. (and that was in the 1980's) The biggest letdown of my life was having to hand chamber one round at a time into an FG42:facepalm:.

Yes - the mags are expensive and ultra-rare for sure.

It's always the way, I am trying to focus on just MP44 parts and an FG42 part shows up for the price of a nice MP44 mag.

I am buying it to keep - not selling.

But - I get your point:thumbsup:

(That was supposed to be a smiley face not a wiseass with a thumbs up - but that becomes some kind of weird hello kitty logo?)

I dont blame you...I would do the same.

You sell it ...then you have the money...but it is only money...and you will spend it.. then you will not have the supressor or the money..only the tale of once owning a Suppressor.

I would much rather have the thing that few other have ,or others desire or need.

I prefer to own something desireable and hard to obtain more so than something as pedestrian as cash ( not to say that disposable cash isnt a goal within itsself)...but you get my drift.

Sell it by the Pound or by the Kilogram or gram!

An FG42 weighs 10.9 Pounds.

FG 42 Price/FG42 muzzle break Price? = 10.9 Lb/muzzle break weight(Lb)

Solve the Equation for the ?.....

There you go! LOL

Or, you could just buy the whole rifle!

Ha - yes, for a time machine.

This is one I found in BC - they would't sell it to me (I tried.)
The mag and bolt are in the lock up, they cannot be displayed with the rifle.

Yeah - I went ahead and bought it -

Now, I just need the other 300 or so parts, lol.

For comparison - this is the one from Canada - that I DID NOT buy.

It fits on the replica - two turns anyway - the lock engages and so it's not falling off.
Now for the rest of the original parts - lol.
