German belt I picked up recently. Can anyone identify the unit mark? I've got plenty of original German belts, but this one's got me. First, I can't ID the "unit" mark, and second, the manufacturer's mark is under the tongue that holds the aluminum keeper. Notice the maker's mark is pressed in the leather, and has ink applied over the stamped mark. Found Gronau as being due west of Hannover. The size mark, 90, is the same way. Pressed and inked over. Never seen one like this. Any info would be greatly appreciated. RAD perhaps?
