I just bought a WW 2 German collection, lots of hats, helmets and blades and small stuff.
Among it all is a blk wound doc that tracks to an enlisted Heer artiller observer in the battle of Kursk.
He was in a self propelled arty unit.
He didn't last long - got hit on 7 Juli and ended up in a hospital in Kiew where the wound badge u. doc were issued on 16 Juli 43.
