Hello folks ...

Just a quick introduction ....

I'm an amateur K98k collector who focuses primarily on Oberndorf K98ks and have managed to accumulate a small collection of Oberndorf manufactured K98k's from 1934 to 1945. My wife is a huge Enfield collector. We fight over who gets to spend the "allowance" money. ;)

Here are a few of the photo albums of my collection of what I've been able to photograph so far in the last few years.

1934 "Banner" Mauser Serial # 92862http://imageevent.com/badgerdog/germanservicerifles/1934bannermauser

1939 Code 42 Oberndorf K98k # 8089(i)http://imageevent.com/badgerdog/germanservicerifles/1939code42oberndorfk98k8089

1939 Code 42 Oberndorf K98k #602(z)http://imageevent.com/badgerdog/germanservicerifles/193942oberndorfk98k

1942 Code byf Oberndorf K98k # 9607(f)http://imageevent.com/badgerdog/germanservicerifles/1942byf42oberndorfk98k

I do have a lot more photography to do on the pieces I have covering all the other years, but my work schedule and business travel gets in the way of the hobby.

Thanks for having me in the forums ......

Regards,
Badger

I like your Banner rifle alot

Thank you ... :)

I looked for years to find her. Very hard to find anything like this quality up here in igloo country. :D

Then when you import it, they nail you for import duties, taxes and brokerage fees, which can add 30% or more sometimes to a rifle.

Regards,
Doug

Nice rifles, and I love your site!

Thanks Mike ... :)

I love this site too ...

According to my browser's analytic data, it's become my second most visited site next to this one .. :D

Regards,
Doug

EDIT: Mike, the site could use the "Post Thank You Hack" as it will save space and make it easier to thank posters. ;)
