FJ Boots?

Hey guys picks these boots today and have no clue what they are. Besides a guess that they may be FJ boots or cut down US WWI office's. Any thoughts thanks guys.

I don't know what type of boots they are but they aren't WW2 FJ boots.

I'd say with a cap toe they are ww2 g.i. boots that have been hobnailed ?? My best guess.

Thats really neat! So theater modified WWII GI boots, the only GI boots that look simlar to that design are Jump Boots. Could anyone tell me the make or model? Thanks guys.

NOT sure the official model. Lower than a jump boot..Its the common boot up to late 44 till they switched to the double buckle boot that has a built in gaiter.. Go on the "at the front" web-site they show a repro version and may list a model #

There was a M45 combat boot that replaced the two buckles but very late.These normally had eleven eyelets for the laces.Army contract and Corcoran made jump boots had 12 eyelets,half sole and beveled heels.Besides the capped toe jump boots also had white webbing internally stitched into the boot on either side of the ankle for support.Any markings in the top of the boot???Possible they were private purchase also.Many companys had taller boots for purchase like LL Bean,Abercrombie and Fitch etc.Also common to have a half sole place on a boot when repaired.

The british officers also had a tall boot but Im not very familiar with those.
