Nice

Love the l block....lots of snipers..

Any chance you can retake the pics of the turrets ?

Super piece.

Hmmm,

tiggerguard should be BYF marked, way to early for SVW and should be Double WaA135 seem better suited on a late BNZ45 rifle, all and all a great sniper!!!

later

Steve, that is a good question. From what I have seen, some L block rifles were issued like this, with hole drilled in the checkered buttplate instead of a disc. My guess? The sniper conversion process didn't originally include adding a disc, as they came to them like that. I would imagine that the first batch of Kriegsmodell rifles could have been issued without a disc, but later ones had them. So, to answer your question, yes, disc were added to the HT rifles, but maybe the first few KM rifles got by without. Similar thing happens to LSR rifles at Gustloff - you see some transitional (to Kriegsmodell) LSR rifles with just a drilled buttplate (even know of one with both a drilled buttplate and a disc).

This LSR with Hole in Butt Plate and a Take Down Disc is in the Kriegsmodell Book also I have a Couple SemiKriegs HT`s that have the take down disc and also the hole drilled under the Checkered Butt Plate but not in Butt Plate . I think as You mention it was an after thought

Bill You have a Wonderful HT I would be Proud to have it in my Collection specially because this Example is missing from my collection . Best Regards
