Search criteria suggestion

Mod-types, admins, and Saten:

I noticed (frustratingly) that the minimum charachter limit for searches on this forum is 4 charachters - I can search for "dogs" but not 3 letter words like "cat"

Now, normally, this makes sense on a forum - but not on a K98k collector forum where 3 charachter searches are VERY useful - bcd, LSR, dot, GGG, byf....see what I am saying? This seems to be common to many gun forums.

Is there a setting in the software where you could set it to a minimum of 3??

I know this is not an direct answer to your question but by using google.com in advanced search mode, you can specify the domain "k98kforum.com".
This is an interesting option.

I changed it to 3 letters. The downside is the search index for the database just exploded exponentially, not that it matters- Bruce is paying for the space.
