This was the second piece of German head gear that I got way back in the middle 60s.. A winter fur cap for the Police dated 1944..... BILL

You see a lot more of the heer ones compared to the the Police. Thanks for posting. By the way I have one that I use in winter time....very warm. :thumbsup:
 
Great hat Bill. Hard to find them in that shape with the markings that crisp, and Police as well.
