Picked this one up a couple of months ago. Apparently a rare maker. Gotta love the rough finish on the blades of 44 bayonets...

That's good to hear, thanks! I've been looking around and it looks like Mundlos only made bayonets in 43 and 44. Is that correct?

I had a 43 long ago, but not that nice!

Nope, they made them before then with the ab code, and before that they just were marked "Mundlos" ;)

Mundlos produced bayonets since 1935 to 1944, like mentioned under numeral code,name and ab letter code.

You would think they would number those at the same time but I guess the scabbard came later..

My ab44 is also in the e block. Wish it were as nice as yours! :thumbsup:
