Walther sportsmodell

that is a walther sportsmodell. Not a dsm34. Walther made both and some people get confused. They also made a kkw. The W.S.M. is a rifle of their own design where the dsm34 is a mauser product made under license. Very nice rifle. Posted is a photo of an orig w.s.m. brochure.

By the way, have you got pictures of a Walther DSM34 to compare with a sportmodell ?
regards
Xavier

Yes

ALL walther sport modells and other modells on this action have a molded black plastic t.g. with a small steel insert for the gew98 type sling that would of been installed in the hole. I have yet to see one with the Gew98 type sling on it.. I have only seen Dsm34 type slings on them.

very nice rifle!!

Wow lucky to find such nice Walther gun.

The Walther Guns are very rare here in Germany / Holland...
seldom seen them... only in the Walther Museum... :p

enjoy!
