Had these for a while, but did some pics because I couldn't find any on my hard drive.
6x30 Zeiss Dienstglas which have 2 penetrations by splinters of shrapnel, the angle of entry suggests they may have been worn around the neck when it happened.
The larger splinter shot through with sufficient force to penetrate the body, and dented the objective mounting plate, and blew out the screws. The other one went in and stayed there, also. I'd imagine if I took them apart I could get the fragments out, but I won't.
Lenses are intact, but one side has fogging and spalling on the lens or prism.
Pretty interesting, either way.
