howdy all, im new to the whole rifle thing im big into bowhunting but the other day i remembered my grandpa had the gun in the title of this post ive been looking it over and the serial numbers all match except on the bolt everything on the gun is a 7344 and the bolt ends in 3740 and the forearm by the rear sights is cracked im not wanting to sell but would like to find out the value of a gun like this,ill try to post some pictures of it

As to the rifle, it has been re-stocked, but assuming it is serialed to the rifle then it would have some value, but a great deal would depend on the stocks condition. Can you do images of the stocks markings?
 
i will try to get some pics of it today i do know that the stock is cracked starting just in front of the rear sights, i dont remember seeing any serial numbers on the stock as i was looking it over.
