CZ27 manufacture date

Gents,

I am looking at aquiring a CZ27 with a serial number of 389XXX. It is an fnh variation, but I am curious of year of manufacture. I am thinking 1944. Help appreciated.

'44 seems right to me.

According to Berger, German occupation ended right at serial 473,000. His book didnt state though if this meant manufactured or assembled.
Berger traveled to the factory and was given accesss to the records. You see later serial numbered Cz.27 pistols, but this would indicate that they were either manufactured or assembeled post occupation.

Unfortunatly the factory has changed hands and the ww2 records were suppossedly destroyed.
