Very nice. I picked up a 1945 dated field phone this year, first one I have ever seen. If you note in the photos, the Prüftest button is missing, but it was made like this.

yes i use my telephones all

on top are two contacts take use a wire to connect them than pull the Prüftaste and turn on the crancset

you have to hear a voice but be carefull the Kurbelinduktor (the red generator) brings 400Volt i know it ... thats not funny

today i was on a weapon and militaria auction for only 25$ i bought a FF33 from 1945

manufacturer RB&Co. (Richard Bosse & Co. Frankfurt)

im so happy about it i thought not that i become one from this year

Do they use DC (Direct Current) Batteries (wet or dry)? How many? What Voltage do they run on? Can they run on AC (Alternating Current)? Nice phones there.

it calls ´´Element d (t30)´´ and was a LS-Element so in englisch Air oxygen-Batterie with 4,5 Volt i use a batterie wit 3,6V and it works perfect ;)

4.9 miles. but after 3.1 miles the connection is very bad

here is my new model from 1945 the text for this phone i only have in german but you can translate it ;)

Das Telefon ist von 1945. Der Induktor ist nicht wie üblich in rot Lackiert sondern in einem minderwertigen Grauton. Auf der Bakelit Tafel welche die Anschlüsse mit dem Gehäuse verbindet fehlen sowohl der Abnahmestempel (Waa) als auch die Prüftaste. Diese jedoch wurde in der Ausnehmung für den Hörer untergebracht, die Vermutung liegt nahe, dass man damit einen Arbeitsgang nämlich das anschweißen dieses separat gefertigten Teiles gespart hat (Die Blecheinlage war an drei Stellen mittels Punktschweißverfahren mit dem Metall-Gehäuse verbunden).
Das Bakelit Gehäuse besitz genau wie das Telefon selbst keinen ,,Waa´´ Stempel. Außen hat es die normalen Kunststoff Schreib- und Buchstabiertafel innen jedoch lackierte Zinkblech Tafeln. Darüber hinaus verfügt es nicht wie üblich über eine Blattfeder die den Hörer stabilisiert um unnötige Geräusche zu vermeiden.
Dieser Feldfernsprecher kam kurzzeitig in der 1949 gegründeten DDR zum Einsatz meiner Meinung nach allerdings nicht sehr lange, denn das im Batteriekasten verbliebene LS-Element von 1955 aus DDR Produktion ist noch verschlossen. Meine Vermutung ist, dass der Fernsprecher neu angemalt wurde, das Element, Sprech- und Hörerkapsel sowie die Minderwertige oder fehlende Stahlblech Kurbel getauscht bzw. ersetzt wurden und es so auf Lager gelegt worden ist.
Bei dem Telefon handelt es sich um ein aus 1944 gebauten Teilen hergestelltes Telefon. Hörer und Stecker von 1944 Firma Suchard Ferdinand

Typisch für Feldfernsprecher des Jahrgangs 45 ist das extrem rötlich erscheinende Gehäuse sowie das im Blechprägeverfahren hergestellte Schanier im Deckel.
Auf dem letzten Bild ist ein Roter Punkt markiert dieser befand sich unter dem ´´Ossi-Lack´´ ich habe vorsichtig in der Vertiefung neben der Schraube gekratz allerdings befand sich dort kein roter Lack wie üblich.
Ich nehme an es war einfacher den roten Punkt neben die Schraube zu machen als ihn rund herum in die Vertiefung
