Waffen ss camuflage vs Danish m84 camoflage

Hallo,,just for fun i will compare waffen ss pattern,to the Danish combat jacket pattern(m84 the year it was introduced too the danish army)
A you can see there is an striking look alike between the old ss pattern,and what we use today here in Denmark
They were way beyond ther time those germans

The British recently held a competition to select a new camo, and several were rejected outright for being too similar to Waffen-SS camo. Their patterns were excellent. Michael Beaver reprinted a American intel report in one of his books where American soldiers fighting in Italy describe the difficulty they had in seeing and identifying soldiers wearing the fall pattern. I think the phrase "almost invisible" was used to describe the SS men.
 
Cool pattern

I would like to have a jacket with that pattern...maybe we should import some....:thumbsup:
 
I just bought a surplus German flecktarn parka from the mid-90s and it sports a pattern pretty similar to that seen in WWII. Why mess with what works? :thumbsup:
