Moral dilema

Ok just bought an RC DOU 45 stock to restore my matching sporter. Dilema, well im thinking of keeping the RC number on the stock so future collectors will know its not a "true original". What do you guys think? Chris

I would take it out. Trust me, you will never get that number out so well that a collector will not be able to tell. Plus, there are usually extra screw holes at the front, from the Russians putting screws throught the bandspring holes, and making new holes for the rear bands.

take em out. then go shoot it. report. lets see a pic of the stock!!
