Looking through the Bundesarchiv for some G29o pictures, I found a few sniper photos I had not seen before. May be "old news" to the likes of Dave, but you never know :)

It is just opening the search page for me. No pictures. Can you post the pictures in the thread?

If you type "zielfernrohr" into the fulltext and the period from 1935 to 1946, you already obtain interesting pictures.
Exemple:

of what is no doubt a ce43 ssr..Make a note of the key feature that most humpers miss when creating a bogus ssr like the one for sale in the latest ria auction...Thank you d.r. for letting me in on this one.. As the really rough s.s.r at s.o.s. had this key feature..

Yeah, seems no hotlinking. I'll get some screen dumps.

THis is a Photo I have seen before it is in the New Sniper Book from the Propaganda Series . Mauser99 Points out a Specific that is typical to the Later Produced Sauer SSR`s but one of the Best ways to help Authenticate one of Sauer SSR`s , the Earlier Sauer SSR`s are not the same as this , they are like in the Pic I posted . There is another Pic I will post but if you have Senich Book You can see another SSR CE 43 with same. It is unknown when this Particular method was started but I believe it was Mid 43 . Best Regards

Here are the Other Pics I mentioned . The SSR with P.Kohler is an Original SSR as I was able to Inspect the Rifle in hand at the Kassel Germany Show in 2011 to other Seasoned Collectors were with me and both came to same conclusion after in Hand Inspection also.
