Steyr progression

S/42

Thunda from down unda
What is the likely hood of a double e/623 triggerguard DEVOID of the hole in the triggerguard bow (and the bow devoid of the "lump" in the front, so it is like a standard Steyr K98 TG bow) being correct for a 1939 G29o?

I have seen a progression of Steyr practices on these - from the early 4 notch triggerguard screws to the late 3 notch screws, so wondering if PERHAPS the 1939 final run of G29o's MAY have used the style I mentioned of TG. The 1939 Steyr K98's mostly seem to have this style of TG too.

Thoughts?

Have 5, 1939 g29 (O), with matching triggerguards from 3 digit no suffix to high 6000 range b suffix. All have the tg that is the g98 style. JL
