Welcome to the dark side. 
Thanks for adding to the G43 section, it has been very quite lately.
Looks like a very honest, un-messed with K43. Obvioulsy not touched for a really long time.

I was there when Bruce bought this rifle. And I can tell you that he did a great job in bring her back to what you see now. Bruce you should have posted pictures of her before you cleaned her up. Now any collector would be happy to add her to his collection.

Pea Green was a popular color in the 50's. My G98/40 jhv44 rifle must have been setting in the corner when they painted the room. Fortunately it cleaned up well...
