Local buy and took a little clean up as this was a garage rifle with crust and paint specs.
Turned out ok.

Welcome to the dark side.

Thanks for adding to the G43 section, it has been very quite lately.

Looks like a very honest, un-messed with K43. Obvioulsy not touched for a really long time.

Wow...

You have been on quite a run lately..Nice honest rifle..I see a couple paint specs you missed on the rear sight ramp. white paint drippings are always a sign of Originality !

Gve45 a block

Hi
I was there when Bruce bought this rifle. And I can tell you that he did a great job in bring her back to what you see now. Bruce you should have posted pictures of her before you cleaned her up. Now any collector would be happy to add her to his collection.
Best Regards
Bob

Weird that it is always white paint you find on old guns never red, brown, blue, etc. Nice one.

Paint spots

Looked like house paint with white, light blue, and light green specs.

Nice find! I like it, have any "before" photos? Was it missing the mag and the buttstock goodies?

Always good to see one escape the wrath of Bubba... :biggrin1:
