Around the world with a ZF41

I have seen these ads popping up all over the place recently. There's always a ZF41 with a can for sale at a price usually 1/3 of what they are going for anywhere else. This time it's actually two ZF41 with cans for only $420. This guy must be an idiot. Oh wait a minute, I'd be an idiot if I send him any money. Well, the guy is out of Denver he says, but notice the view through his scope, there's a German flag in the window. And look at the European UHF antennas on the roof. And the European raingutters. Well, well, and what are the numbers on the wall of the house? Oh, they are actually numbering on the lens of a scope that lost its cross hairs. Not a problem, our "Denver" buddy just installed a new #1 reticle using Photoshop. Nice sharp and crisp, a little stair stepped at the tip. Isn't there a setting for finer pixels in Photoshop? Pawel, is that you again?

Denver seem to be a cheapster neighborhood, once you got to Phoenix you can get $500 for the same scopes:

Texas, YEEEEHAH:

Houston, we have a problem:

What a hard sell, maybe the price is too high?

Off to Ireland:

Liverpool:

OMG, the scope changes from type1 to type2 when you click on the thumbnails, and the gray can turns green. Vancouver magic.

Here's a clearer view of the numbers on the mount, different from the thumbnails mentioned above:

And the B.S. goes on and on. Does anybody know who this guy is and if the scopes are really his?

You're right, it's Pawel Novak (or Pavel Nowak?) and he doesn't own anything...
He often uses "Hornblower1994" nickname

Pawel Nowak a.k.a. hornblower1994

It's time to not only turn up the heat on this turd (eeewwhh, the smell) but also educate potential victims by exposing him as much as possible. Let's post as many threads related to his non-existing merchandise as possible and show the pictures he's always using. Here's another discussion if you are in the SS dagger business:

http://www.warrelics.eu/forum/discussions/hornblower1994-84001/

I will try to post as many links with pictures of his stuff as possible. Always be on the lookout and check here first if you are into scopes, daggers, medals, rings, helmets or anything else of high value pertaining to the German WW2/Nazi/SS era. Look at the pictures and remember his scam when you see them somewhere. Don't get hosed like our member from Germany who got ripped off on EGUN. Before sending any money to anybody, always ask for more specific or detailed pictures. Heck, for big ticket items go as far as asking him to take a picture of the item laying on today's newspaper. So if he is in Denver, you want to see the scope laying on today's Denver Gazette or whatever local newspaper they have in Denver. The Wall Street Journal or New York Post are not the right papers for a background as they are available everywhere, including the sh!thole Pawel lives in.

One definitive tell tale sign for fraud is the picture background: Usually sellers have a dedicated photo area and use the same background all the time for their merchandise. If a seller never has the same background for different items, chances are the pictures are stolen from auction sites, classifieds, etc.

For those of you who have lost money to this scumbag I only feel little sympathy. You thought you had found a fool who would sell you something valuable far below market value, until you discovered the only fool in this game were you. Don't allow greed to turn off your common sense. If you need to learn another lesson, here's a ZF41 for you at half the price you would pay on eBay. The Brooklyn Bridge also went on sale last night (comes with free lighting!).

Pawel Novak ZF41 scam now on Craigslist

Old scumbag Pawel (a.k.a. Kaspian1417, Legolas1944@outlook.com or Trespuentes27) is not giving up, now going after greedy fools on Craigslist. His alleged phone contact in the ad is 515-345-2345 but I'm sure he stole that one, too.

http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/clt/4705286991.html

Still using the same old pictures he stole from other sites years ago... Did anybody notice the reticle has been drawn into a real picture using Photoshop? And what about the European looking houses with a German flag in the window? I guess it means you can you see Europe from New York when looking through a ZF41, right?

In this day and age only an absolute moron would sell two ZF41 scopes with original cans for $600. And it takes an even bigger moron to mail out $600 to a Craigslist guy sight unseen.
