G33/40 Serial and data sticky?

Is there a possibility we can get a G33/40 serial and data sticky going?

I would like it to cover things such as 1 or 3 peice stocks. Highest and lowest serial numbers recorded for that year. Presence of circle z markings. Barrel codes. Lam or walnut. Basicly a go to thread for references and data where everyone shares and gains.

Something like...

945 1940:
1234 3 piece walnut, bolt match, circle z marked bolt parts, E6 circle z bolt root.
1234 a
1234 b
1234 c 1 piece walnut
1234 d

dot 1941:
1234 a
1234 b
1234 c
1234 d

dot 1942
1234 laminate marked WaA63, non match bolt
1234 a laminate not marked WaA63, matching bolt
1234 b
1234 c
....etc

Well, I've got a 945 1940 Nr 8313c bolt mismatch.
I'll have to dig it out to give any more info on it.

Well, we can try. I am open to a discussion about it.

I’ve been collecting G. 33/40 data for a few years, but only rifles with verifiable pics of the serial data. I have just over 450 saved rifles. There are 4 codes with over a dozen sun-variations. The problem with random databases is that, unfortunately, you can’t always rely on the poster. I have several that were posted as “matching bring backs’ that are really mismatched sporter rescues or, worse, fakes.

So, my preference for this would be to only post data with pics but that would be too cumbersome.

Thoughts?

Here's a quick tutorial:

I would like it to cover things such as 1 or 3 peice stocks. - Intermittent through 40 and 41.

Highest and lowest serial numbers recorded for that year. - Low is irrelevant 40 high is 9975 "d". For 41 high is 5050 "C" though there are faked receivers with higher numbers. 42 is 4726 'd'.

Presence of circle z markings. - OK for 40 and and 41 but not absolute. Not expected for 42.

Barrel codes. - Paul

Lam or walnut. 40 and 41 solid (including two and three piece) and 42 laminated.
