VZ.24 with LSR Mounts

Was this ever done in WW2?? I'm thinking of doing that with my .308 G.24(T) I just wanna know, if not, not a problem to spend alittle money and get a k98k stock XD:thumbsup:

the LSR mount was made to fit a special M98 receiver only used by sauer(ce) and gustloff(bcd).it was not made to fit the standard M98 receiver like the VZ24.the repro mounts sold have a adapter plate the goes underneath the repor LSR base so it can be used on a standard M98 receiver.
the SSR mount is the side mount made to fit the standard M98 receiver.

have never seen legit VZ24 or warphoto showing a scoped VZ24.there were some german divisions equiped with the VZ24 rifle, usually former Czech units.it is possible that some could have been assembled at depos supplying the Czech units.also possible that the standard rifles were the VZ24 and the sniper rifles were the K98k.
will probably have to wait until someone locates a warphoto showing a VZ24 with SSR mount.

Some time ago a mid/late war photo with a scoped VZ24 sold on ebay (Germany). The scope looked like a Russian PU.
