marked E. PACK&S. on one side, (E. Pack & Söhne) "180" on the other side, and 37 on the back of the blade, (Mfg date?) no marks on the sheath, so it may not be original, I believe the grips were changed at some point during WWII, as it now has Bakelite, and I believe it would have come with wood, I have no idea how common this variation is, not quite correct for my 1915, but for another $40, it is better than nothing

When there is h letter under the 180 it should be late 1937 production, so the bayonet could be with plastic grips from beginn, but this confirm must be the grips dissasembled and looks for assembly numbers under. br.Andy

yes there is a lower case "h" under the number 180, so the grips could be correct? thanks for the information
