Enough to make you cry

S/42

Thunda from down unda
My Dutch M95 armourer's handguard arrived yesterday.

Seller sent it in a paper envelope, with one THIN layer of quasi-bubble wrap.

Of course...

THe handguard is absolutely ruined. It's splintered and shards missing. Not to mention the fact that the handguard is severely warped - seller never mentioned that!

HE refunded the money quickly.

All it needed was a mailing tube or a box. He sent it in a paper envelope!!! I am shocked still - he's a major militaria dealer too.

Yes. a crime. An Aussie seller mailed me a porcelain RFC nick nack. It arrived as a pile of dust in an envelope. I contacted the seller who was apologetic, said a worked had packed it, refunded my money quickly. I told him that was all well and good but the planet was now missing yet another Great War artifact. I wanted to cry.
