My small German WW1 bayonet collection

I thought I would post my 4 bayonets here.
They are not in mint shape but have scarce features/marks on them

1. Quillback 1901 has a one piece handle made by Erfurt and issued to Prussia
I got it from someone who said his dad brought it home from France after WW2 (who knows if that is true)
2. Quillback 1904 was issued in Saxony if I am not mistaken. Made by Simpson Co Suhl
3. Butcher Bayonet, high ears 1914 made by Simpson Co Suhl. Issued to Prussia, frog is most likely from Red Cross Dagger
4. German 1871 Bayonet, made by P. D. Lüneschloss, Solingen for Prussia in 1874. Interesting frog, I think it is police? Weird loop, it is too long....
Someone told me that those unit marks belong to a hospital unit. 21.T.B.21.71

Please correct me if I am wrong on any information.

Thank you

I think it is a fine collection, then again I think unit markings add alot of character and give more history to the piece. GR

NICE SG98aA.unfortunally no visible units stamps.

Yes a S98nA probably from Saxony.
3. Butcher Bayonet, high ears 1914 made by Simpson Co Suhl. Issued to Prussia, frog is most likely from Red Cross Dagger
S98/05aAS.
4. German 1871 Bayonet, made by P. D. Lüneschloss, Solingen for Prussia in 1874. Interesting frog, I think it is police? Weird loop, it is too long....

The frog is probably normal police - Polizei Presidium Elbersfeld, probably should be on normal police long SG as the markings in leather speaks for other bayonet as attached here. The unit of S71 could be of Train battalion, 2.company, weapon nr.71.

Thank you very much, that explains the police frog :)
Quillback bayonets have units on the scabbards but that doesn't mean much, i know :)
