Another one I have a line on:

A very nice condition G.98/40. It appears all matching externally with the exception of the bolt head.

Assuming that the bolt head is the only thing mismatched, what would be the cutoff price for purchase?

The rifle retains 90%+ bluing and the stock cartouches are very strong. Normal dings and the like otherwise.

I appreciate the help guys!

I'll let someone else cover this as I am not up to speed on them- for me though, they are about the same as similar condition 98k rifles.

Anywhere from around $1,000 to $1,600 (maybe more) on the online auction sites. That's a fairly big range and which end you ended up on would depend on how nice the rifle is, quality of photos, and who has spare cash at the time you offer it. I suspect that the mismatched bolt head wouldn't affect the selling price much if at all.

That is what I assumed. I'm looking to buy this one for myself. Need to wait until the seller figures out a price - he just took in a large collection.
