K98 bayonet with tropical frog...

I acquired this up today from a flea market picker who was set up at a small gun show in Ft. Lauderdale. It's a matching , '39 date F.W. Holler with a green tropical canvas frog. The blade is in pretty nice shape with just some runner wear on the tip. Here are some pics.

Very nice find. I would love to go to the flea market where he found it. All the one in my area has is Avon bottles, used furniture,toys out of happy meals, and crap from China and Mexico.

Yeah, but that's why you gotta keep going, the one weekend you don't and someone will be there with a fresh out of the closet helmet or bayo, or something good...

I commented on GB...it is a very nice rig!
