1943 98k Sling

WOW! nuts.

Ive got one pretty much as nice as that one, I wonder if it was shills, or if it would go that high again, not that Im selling anyways.
 
yikes.. that sling almost looks to good. Ive paid about that for matching k98's with slings.. Times change..
 
I was watching that auction but dropped out long before that crazy final price.

I do still like that sling though.
 
Crazy times we live in that is for sure. That price is just crazy. I see why most just buy a repro and are content. I bought one that was nice and un-oiled and paid a little over $100 but that was several years back. Hope I can find another but I wouldn't pay over $200 for my next one.

i dont care how mint the sling is, you're a damn fool to pay $500 for a sling. you could get a solid bolt mm for cheaper than that sling.....
