2cm Take home box

Turbo Archie

Well-known member
This thing was shipped two to three times.

It was painted green at some point. More writing on the back covered by paint.

I'll take some pictures of the 7-lugers, 3-P38's, 5 ppk's, and various SS daggers that came in it later....

TA,

That is a nice catch... Thanks for posting that.... that stuff gives me pointers on what to look out for...

Thanks for posting! We would love to see more of this sort of thing. I have a fair number of items in their original bring back boxes - some with capture papers that I will try and post in the coming weeks.

Another 'Send Home Box'

This is a recent addition and another 'GI' souvenier box. This one is originally an Armourers Chest ("Vorrat") for the PzB39 anti-tank rifle. The pull out top drawer is missing and the Information Label under the lid and of course the actual contents......any help with any of those 'missing bits' or images of what a complete set up looks like, greatly appreciated.
Peter.

Ship home box

Ok, here is another...pretty cool little "First Ad Kit". Came filled with armbands, flags, pins, dagger hanger, knots, patches, letters....and other odd and ends. Always interesting to see what our GI's bring back.
