    G41 magazine issue

Not normal by any means. Stop shooting it until you figure out the issue. If you are not getting case head seperations, then it sounds like the magazine or magazine catch is either damaged or the magazine isn't locked in properly. Post some pictures.

    G43 not cycling properly

Unless you were to shave the locking lugs or firing pin carrier fully flat, there is no way for a G43 fire out of battery. I was more talking about the way the firing pin works, than the actual mechanism. The M60, FG42, and Lewis have to rotate the bolt into battery for the firing pin to hit...

    G43 not cycling properly

While a slam fire is entirely possible and has probably happened at some point with the G43, I don't think it is able to fire out of battery simply by the design of the firing pin carrier and locking lugs. For the firing pin to reach the primer, the firing pin carrier has to be pushed forward...

    G43 not cycling properly

Like it was noted above, this is not an ammo issue. The disconnector is not working correctly and it was already noted above as well that the pin holding it is damaged. Pretty much your disconnector is releasing the hammer before the sear catches it again when you release the trigger after...

    New Gewehr 43 Owner Inspection

I remember seeing this rifle posted on gunboards when it first showed up on gunbroker. I remember the patch wrap, but not the damage to the gas cylinder. Hopefully you can get your money back OP as I'd return it.

    41 stuff

You have been such a huge help when my G41 needed parts. Not sure what I would have done without your help. I think you are pretty much the only person who has such a great selection of spare parts. You should list some of your parts on Gunbroker or a complete list on the Gunboards...

    G41w restoration project

I'd probably just fix the original stock you have. Looks like you are missing the dovetailed center piece on the bottom of the receiver that the center trigger guard screw goes into. I'd ask tbied2 if he has one. One of your FCG spring legs is in the incorrect location too. The one that...

    GSU’s G41 woes thread.

It might have been the recoil springs being weak, as they were the originals. I didn't see any marks that it would indicating it was slamming into the rear of the receiver though, but it probably wouldn't take much force to crack the thin metal around the pin. I don't plan on shooting the G41...

Heads up to G41 owners if you are looking for the tool.

There's a reproduction of the G41 tool on ebay from Historical Parts Co. Look up 'Walther G41 Reroduction Disassembly Tool'. I bought one, and it is very nice.

    GSU’s G41 woes thread.

All good, thank you for putting it out there though. Terrill (tbied2) has been a god-send as far as fixing the rifle. His prices are more than fair, he has exactly what you need as far as the G41, and his shipping is very fast.

    G41 Range Gun

I took mine shooting once with prvi ammo. Broke the firing pin carrier on the 38th round and jammed the action. I replaced the part and decided not to shoot it again, for fear of breaking something else. The G41 is still overgassed, though not to the degree of the G43. Just understand, if...

    DUV G41W Unmarked Safety Lever

Maybe the unmarked safety is a field replacement. The replacement safety I installed is 214 marked.

    DUV G41W Unmarked Safety Lever

Mine is a 9700 g block. DUV (blm) made.

    DUV G41W Unmarked Safety Lever

Removed the safety lever from my DUV G41W to replace it and noticed it has no markings on it. Thought the Germans marked all these parts with either the 214 or 359 eagle.

    Removal of K43 gas piston

Use penetrating oil and let it sit a few days. Then use a adjustable wrench on the gas block and a wrench on the piston like in the youtube video and it should unscrew.
