Doesnt match by ser # ( to new to 43s to know if they did that ) It was WITH the gun, but they want about $1500 more JUST for the gun than other K43s. IDk if thats worth it to keep together OR wait for a better priced K43

For collector value This scope I won at auction WAS with a K43 AC44. this scope is in A book. ( shown on page 248 of Darren Weaver's book "Hitler's Garands ~ German Self-Loading Rifles of World War II" ) SO, would it be better Have that gun also? or make a difference ?

HI, Just picked this G43 up. have a 3 day inspection . NEW to these so wondering if i should keep it. Duffle cut. parts matching, but duffle cut part of wood has a different #. SHOULD i try shooting a few rounds to see if it runs Or not a good idea. I have older surplus 8mm.
