Ersatz Bayonet I just got...I think a EB 24?

Hello all!
I just picked up this Ersatz bayonet and with comparing pics and drawings in Carter's volume 3 I think its a EB 24..but you guys are the experts what do you think it is!? Thanks!

Its a ASG88/98 the ersatz designation and EB number is only a collector help, never occured by germans periodically. The various proof on blade means most real the blade rohling was delivered by one firm and the handle was proofed by other inspector mostly by finished of handle, in that case they stamped the solid area also blade as the handle is hollow. Looks like remains of origin paint, even someone added there his fingerprint on grip, mostly it was coated in some detergent or solution that etched the surface.

Thank you very much Andy! Very good information that I learned alot from! Yes, the best feature that I like of the bayonet is the original paint!
