Hello, im looking at this k98 jubileum 100th anniversary, this one has holes for mounting a scope. Did the 100th anniversary edition came scoped ? I live in italy btw. Thanks

No, somebody put a reproduction LSR scope mount on it. Stock has also been altered because of this.

Are the holes at least good ? For mounting a repro ?

They seem to have the correct pattern,
This is my k98 without scope mount.
Didnt take dimensions though when it was disassembled

Maybe the picture isnt clear, but its 3 threaded holes and 2 holes without thread for a dowel.

But, don’t you need a flat receiver to mount a lsr ? The one on the gun is curve. Can this affect zero/precision ?

They sell reproduction mounts that fit round receivers.
