The piece was probably sent to Izrael as visible on sling mover, the rifle is czechoslovak army as visible on siderail, made post 1945, the lion or other stamp on top receiver was scrubbed out, i assume the RK on buttstock could be added as rack number?

Most of the CZ Mausers of the postwar era were sent to Israel, but they didn't scrub the receivers and they marked their guns well. I doubt if this gun here was sent to Israel, even if the sling is from there; could have been easily added later. The whole thing has been refinished, at least the wood, and the Israelis didn't do that. I guess the rack numer is from that ...overhaul, maybe the scrubbing as well. The "M" is part of the serial number. Beginning in the M-block, CZ Mausers weren't exported to Israel any more and whereas scrubbed receivers are not often encountered until that block, it's more or less the rule beginning in the late M- and early N-block.

Hard to believe that most of postwar production went to Israel, it was large numbers but mainly with origin german Kar98k, partly with new production, but like Telp. mentioned the sling speaks not that the rifle were Israeli delivered.

Update: took it apart today. On the barrel "JC" "dou"? And I think some letter which I can make out with K in a circle stamp
