AR block DOT built on a Vz-24 receiver

Not my rifle, the only photos I’ve got. Seems that several of these have turned up, but figured I’d share it here regardless. It appears to be a DOT 44 gun that is built on a recycled receiver.

Gun is in Europe in the hands of some larger scale arms dealer. Bolt body is “matching,” but I’d need to see before photos before pronouncing it good. Remainder of bolt is not numbered.

I believe that the number on the receiver is some sort of importer or government thing, as it appears to be dot matrix.
I would guess so, since the ATF requires the s/n on the receiver itself, if impirts are no serialed on the receiver the importer must do so, which is why you see the shitty import marks on 91/30's and the like...ATF mucks everything up...

Pretty cool oddball for sure!

The blueing on receiver doesnt look ok to me. Should be provided more detailed pictures of the marking on main parts. Possible the receiver serial is from importer.

The dealer that owned it just posted it as a curiosity. They handle mostly modern hardware, but occasionally end up with stuff like this that they will share on their Facebook page. The caption on the post made it seem like they didn’t really understand what it was.
