New to me 1941 mauser berlin, 9289a

Recently acquired this semi-locally with a matching 41 FNJ bayonet. Together they cost me just a hair more then you can find russian captures for.

Bolt mismatch AR 41 with a "late" steyr bolt, which is strangely close in serial number! Rest of rifle is matching and original save for sighthood and cleaning rod which look to be modern additions. Pretty happy with it overall. Mauser berlin is quickly becoming my "favorite" maker for whatever reason.

Any thoughts or criticisms welcome!

When I saw the first picture I thought the exact same thing. Really nice patina and overall look. I like that defect in the bolt collar too. For just over the price of an RC??? Yes, please.
