Walther Sportmodell

Looked at a Walther Sportmodell , last week, just getting around to posting, because of a Tornado and loss of power and the internet.

Gun was sportered by wood being cut, and bands and etc., being removed. Rifle retains its matching bolt, and is serialed numbered 43460W. It has the eagle N proof on it. I believe there is one that is serialed higher in Simpson's book, however not proofed.

A few photos are attached.

common enough rifle but just scarce because of the late proofing.. Wood and parts pretty much non existent..

I am sure Bob saw 43475w (E/N) sold at RIA in 2014, but maybe didn't get in the book. I have a Meisterbuchse with Olympic stock E/N at 43625w and have recorded 43901w at E/N. It is a shame that it was sporterized.
