This is a new arrival, it just arrived yesterday. The condition is better than the ffc 44 that I posted earlier. I wish I could find all of my bayonets in this condition. Let me know what you think.

I am working on my 44 bayonets as well. At this point I have a;

1. 44 fnj
2. ab44
3. 44 ffc
4. Clc 44
5. 44 asw riveted (blued)
6. 44 clv (script)
7. cof 44

I think that the ones I am missing is a Pyy, Sgx, Bym, Cul, can scabbard, ddl, Jwh, and Fze. I am almost halfway there.

Nice. I’m not going for variations from each, just one of each code. For instance my 43/44asw satisfys the asw code. Gotta draw a line somewhere. We should collaborate if we find ones we already have!

Looks like excellent piece, even in dbase are in this early H range pieces mentioned with wood grips, since half of range already only red plastic, so it was realised a mixed configuration wood and plastic, it looks like minimal used. No worryieng spures on scabbard.Interesting R.Herder used a high standard surface
not rough tooling in so late production 1944 as H is the last observed range.b.r.Andy

Thank you for the information. The ffc and clc came from a bayonet collector so I am not surprised that the serial numbers were already recorded. I appreciate your information. What is the highest recorded H block. Doubt that these were even issued. I like the wood grips but the red bakelite is my favorite.

Thats a nice one. I haven't scored any decent bayos in quite some time. On a tangent subject, what is that website that serves as a bayo database? I think it is a french site possibly? I couldn't find it on google.

H9900 is the highest reported piece, real the contract with Wehrmacht ended with letter H.b.r.Andy

Don't forget, you need a 44 agv, too. I found a nice pyy a easier one to find in '44 than a agv in similar condition, although more agv coded examples were made. The code change appeared either very late in the "c"-bloc or early "d"-bloc.

In addition to the 44agv mentioned above you will also need a 44cqh and 44crs to complete your collection by year.

44agv code change to 44pyy occurred in the very early d block pwcosol ......

Ok, so I am not even close to halfway there.😏 I am working on it and some of the fun is in the hunt. I should have the ppy but sellers have backed out. The last one confused me because I offered to pay what they were asking.
