This is a Polish Model wz.27 Mauser bayonet captured and modified by the Wehrmacht. It still bears its original Polish serial number, Perkun factory stamps and Polish Army mark.
The German modifications include the deep bluing of the blade and scabbard, and the removal of the scabbard rivet from the top center-side and replacement with a short German screw, which was fastened to the exterior edge of the scabbard. The latter modification was also mandated in 1942 on Yugoslav Model 1924 bayonets, but is not always seen. The original rivet hole was filled in and blued over.
It seems that the Polish bayonets are more infrequently encountered than other German-modified varieties. Most of those I've seen were made at Radom.
