I should have specified the PP/PPK earlier but did not. That being said I think he's shown some interest in P38s as well and will pass these along. Thank you.

    Best book on Walther pistols?

What is/are the best book/s on Third Reich era Walther pistols? I managed to get a friend into WW2 collecting but he is gravitating toward handguns instead of rifles. Any suggestions?

    Mundlos 38?

Was sifting through some gear I got from my father's estate and stumbled upon a K98k bayonet. Sheathe and bayonet sadly do not match. Bayonet is marked Mundlos 38. I believe this company was located...

    Welcome to the forum!

What is the Japanese collecting experience like? Are de-activated Mausers more expensive/desirable than other de-activated guns? Is there a collector community?

Here are some photos. It doesn't appear to have any electropenciling. The random strikes around the "7" are odd to me. Maybe it resembled 1/4 of a swastika and needed to be defaced (lol)?

Value of 1937 BSW Russian Capture?

Haven't bought it yet, but found someone selling a 1937 BSW RC for $700. That is pretty high for a Russian Capture but it's a BSW so...you see where I'm at. Am I crazy?

    Who made this cleaning rod?

Any ideas on who made this cleaning rod? It's one of the shorter early models. I am unsure if the first character is either an "S" or an "8" to my eyes. Thank you for any and all help.

Date reads 6-25-41 so it should be June 21st of that year. A Saturday if the date calculator I used was accurate.

The letter P is stamped behind the grip ball.
