Anybody have sourced information on what firm(s)/arsenal(s) converted M89 Belgian rifles and carbines from 7,65 to 7,9 for the Germans during WWI?

SOME GERMAN MILITARY JÄGER RIFLES About a dozen starting with a Prussian M1744 and ending with a Jäger 71/84. First up at Concord NH, then Marlborough and then West Springfield MA in 2015.

An S42 just sold on Ebay for $3150; looks like a fight between two bidders. I'm not sure but I think this may be a record.

Acquired sample. Webbing color and weave off; all hardware new. Easy to spot at this point but if hardware replaced with originals and sling thoroughly crudded up and/or redyed might present a problem for the unwary later.

SN 610 currently on auction locally. Sporterised: forearm amputated, swivels gone, no rod, no bolt stop assembly;, external condition worn and poor; as Norm Flayderman used to say, "will restore excellent." A perfect example of "Pete's Rule": If it is collectible Bubba has buggered it.
