So if i not misunderstand, the rifle should be ok because it's in a transitional range (barrel code explanation). It's little bit entangled. Anyway you are right, the eagle H is missing on the right side of the stock.

Hi folks, I have a doubt about this rifle. All parts are serial numbered like the SS contract specifications but not the barrel bands. I saw in the forum list many bnz SS contract with serialized bands, so i don't know if in this case are replaced or not. Thanks a lot

Unfortunately in Italy also GOOD Carcanos aren't common:facepalm: the best k98 are in the USA Anyway i add more pictures of the rifle......i'm not understand why the S/N of the stock(inside) is missing the aL, but it is complete in the handguard.It is correct?

Hi i have standard modell ghost receiver (s/42 1937) SN B63434 all matching Under the barrel 36Do359 waa63 and BUGN proofs

..................confirm my doubts:facepalm: It is sad but it is the reality. About the stock i had the same conclusion as soon i saw the picture because it is like the RC rifle...... anyway it's always better ask to the expert:thumbsup:
