Common gun I guess but one of the best blued guns I have. Came with a mint bayonet also.

Wow, very nice! What is with the "135" WaA underneath the date though? I've never seen anything like that. Great score!

Good catch Col.

Yes you get the prize. Some of these byf 43's have an extra proof. I don't think there has been a proven reason for it. Maybe some of the other guys will have some block specific info.

Insane gun Jack!!

Love the blue but the wood is to die for.

Sharp cocking piece relief on the stock and un cleaned :hail:

..

Wood

Thanks TA. I saw this gun displayed when I walked in a local gun shop, and you could see the wood and side proof from across the room. The gun was so stunning I thought it had to be reblued and asked them if I could disassemble it. No question...all original.

I use this rifle to show how the safety should be shaped when you look at it from the rear. Also note the subtle shading difference below the dished out section. Areas that I always look at to determine bolt shenanigans

Ya I could see that one with a LT Set Up on it , I am talking Original not a Repro . But for a K98 WOW !!!!!!!!!! What Beauty !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
