Default Tunic M-36 Gebirgsjäger feldwebel sanitäts

    Hello
I want to share with you some piece of my collection.
This jacket came from my collection of German militaria.
This is a very nice M-36 tunic from Gebirgsjäger feldwebel sanitäts division.
The edelweiss patch are three one over the other.

    I hope you like it.

Very nice. Wonder what the purpose was for the layered edelweiss? MY only tunic is for a Hauptman of the 83rd regiment (Pioneer).

    Thank you!
You have a great officer display congrats.
The purpose is 'to make protruding the edelweiss patch.
I see some jacket with cotton under the patch, for the same reason.
