Nice undinked with byf44 'c' block with replaced safety being the only non-original part.
Also notice the E/26 takedown disk, likely from a parts transfer from Mauser Berlin where K98k production ended in late 1943.

Great rifle Bruce.

The common bluing loss on that part of the floor plate is really obvious here. Neat.
 
VERY nice Bruce. I have it's cousin 39599 c. Mine has almost the exact same stock, white glue and dark wood lines.
 
I love it! Beautiful Mauser Bruce. I also love the white glue stocks. I need one bad for one of my DOU 43 duffel cut/ Mismatched stocks.
